Carole Ashby

Carole is well known for her portrayal of 'Louise' in the hit BBC comedy series "Allo Allo" together with other roles on popular TV shows including Minder, Bergerac and Life Without George, Gems and Drummonds.

On the bigger screen Carole is remembered for her part of 'Papillon' in the Bond Movie 'View to a Kill' as well as roles in Octopussy, Yanks, Chariots of Fire, Merlin and the Sword and Savage Hearts.

She travelled on two World Tours representing the two Bond movies in which she featured, attending film premiers and TV chat show interviews. She is still involved in helping promote the Bond Franchise with the 60th Anniversary events and the James Bond Fan Club.

 

Born in Staffordshire, Carole studied drama at school, gaining a distinction in Spoken English. She had private tuition with Geoffrey Connor (RADA) and during her time in LA, studied at the Beverley Hills Playhouse.

 

Carole's effervescent and engaging personality also secured her a Magazine Show called 1st Edition on BSkyB interviewing celebrities at home. She has also presented Ashby's Odyssey where she uncovers forgotten histories and some mysteries of her own in the Peak District. She is currently working on a One Woman show.
